Relay - Participant Information and Instructions:

The ferry to ‘Start Line’ leaves promptly at 6:45 a.m. from Albuoy’s Point to Watford Bridge, Somerset. Tickets can be purchased at Number Pick-up. Government issues tickets or tokens will not be accepted.

South Shore and Middle Road junction will close promptly at 7:30 a.m.
Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed to Somerset after this time. -
Medical details must be filled out on the back of the race number issued to you.

Changing / Rest Rooms are available at Somerset Cricket Club & Warren Simmons Field (The Royal Navy Field).

This event will be chip-timed.

Each Team will be issued 1 (one) race chip which will be attached to a baton that must be passed at each leg and carried from start to finish.

Participants will be responsible for any cost incurred to replace lost bibs/chip.

BATONS WILL BE HANDED OUT AT THE START LINE AFTER THE HALF MARATHON STARTS AT 8:30A.M.

Relay Race starts at 8:40a.m.

Race Numbers must be worn on the FRONT of shirt / vest during the entire race.

Bib labelled ‘RELAY’ must be worn on the BACK of shirt / vest during the entire race.

Truck carrying runners’ clothing will leave the Warren Simmons Field at 8:15a.m. prompt.

Runners must collect clothing at least 15 mins after crossing the Finish Line.

Each relay team will include 2 or 4 participants. The minimum age is 12years. (as of race day)

Leg 1 Cambridge Road, Main Road Somerset, Middle Road Southampton (Approx. 4.75 miles

Leg 2 Between mile 4 & 5, Southampton Post Office, Southampton (Approx. 3 miles)

Leg 3 & 2-Person relay change over Between mile 7 & 8, Harbour Road, Tamarind Vale, Warwick (Approx. 2.25 miles)

Participants running the relay division of this event are not permitted to participate in the full half-marathon.

No Strollers or pets are allowed on the race course

Please do not park on private property or block private driveways!

Do not park on roadways with a yellow line, your vehicle may be ticketed by the Police

Leg 2 Southampton Post Office, Southampton. *Parking on Port Royal School Field.

Leg 3 Harbour Road, @ Tamarind Vale, Warwick. *Parking at T.N. Tatem Middle School.

Leg 4 Lovers Lane & Harbour Road, Paget. *Please do not park on private property or block private driveways on Lovers Lane and Highwood Lane.
To be eligible to participate, participants must be Bermudians or Residents of Bermuda six (6) months before race day.
Awards Presentation:
Commemorative medals will be awarded to the four-person and two-person teams that finish.
